    Lighters vs Matches

Matches are the cleanest light. I use matches exclusively. Take a brand new pipe that you've never smoked from, drop a lighter into the empty bowl and take a few draws, as if you were lighting your tobacco. Do this with a butane lighter and with a kerosene wick lighter. Enjoy the pleasant...

    Missouri Meerschaum Mini

Aside from Blood Red Moon, Wilke Cherry is one of the best cherry blends out there, imo. For my third place cherry option, I also enjoy Sutliff Z50 Black Cordial – though it's a bit wet/goopy for my taste.

    Missouri Meerschaum Mini

There's always Blood Red Moon for a cherry/chocolate mix. Even though it's not listed as "coffee", I've always found Peterson's De Luxe Mixture to have an incredible coffee liqueur aroma to it. Almost Baileys/White Russian'esque.

Another fan of the Marlin Flake here. Love the figgy virginias in this one. For me, it comes a little moist out of the tin, so I like to dry it for a bit. Like to fold-and-stuff this one. I enjoy it in a larger bowl as well. Can bite if you're not slow and deliberate with it (at least in my...

    What Were Your Go-To Tobacco’s in 2025?

Some people hate on those floral lakelands, but I'll be damned if Ennerdale isn't the perfect springtime smoke. I reserve it exclusively for warm weather smoking, and it's a thing of beauty.

    Tobacco Company Giveaways...

I'm very proud of my ©1992 Winston radio cooler bag. The cutting edge of technology.

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

Funny, I felt the same way about Boswell's Northwoods. Tasted like I was smoking gasoline. Gave it away.
