Been Gone but now back with A good tobacco book.
I have been out of pocket for a few months without internet service. I had to take care of my 95 year old mother who went into a sudden decline. (Dementia) I found A very interesting book about everything there is to know about tobacco including history, growing, and curing. It is a free book...- drsam

Your Most Unusual Pipe

BB (Before Briar) Porcelain was the Choice for high dollar pipes in Europe. The usually have a very long stem. ( check out my avatar with 140 year old Austrian pipe.) Yes, the bowl and the wind cover get hot.- drsam

Fly Fishers/tyers
I have been fly fishing and tying flys for almost sixty years. sometimes as many as 3000 flys/year from Salmon flys to size 24 Trout flys.
