Has Forums Gone Budget On Pipes?

Interesting thread. I guess I haven't thought about it till now. I suppose I don't see as many high-end pipes shown off as I used to see. I think a lot of the members who regularly posted pics of their fine pipes don't frequent the forum as much or at all anymore. But I also agree that there are...

    Quotes from the Kids...

Reminds me of the old Art Linkletter show "Kids Say the Darndest Things", which I believe has been resurrected. That show always made people laugh.

    Drying Tobacco in High Humidity?

Your cellar is in your garage? Your cellar should be indoors in a climate-controlled environment. Leaving your tins in the garage to temp and humidity extremes is a really bad idea. Back to your original question... drying a bowls worth of tobacco indoors with Air Conditioning is pretty...

    Quotes from the Kids...

My ex is Cajun, and her father went to LSU and was a big LSU fan. He had a big portrait of Mike the Tiger in a bedroom at the back of the house. When my boy was about 5 or 6 yrs old we were visiting there, and he had wondered back to that bedroom unbeknownst to us. He comes running into the...

    Swiss Army Knife's Jar Labels

I imagine with a digital image, they could be printed on anything. They could also probably be laser etched in glass, plastics or metals. Lot's of possibilities.

    Swiss Army Knife's Jar Labels

Excellent! Thank you! How would you like requests, PM, or on this thread to keep track of what's available over time? I imagine you will get a lot of requests for labels you don't have presently listed.

Ribeye Steak and Roasted Tomatoes on the Primo!

I love the Primo! Mine is a Junior. I would highly recommend a kamado or Primo over a pellet smoker for a plethora of reasons... I get mine to about 400-500 for searing direct, 300 indirect. What kind of grill are you using? To get charcoal or wood coals hot you need to introduce more oxygen...

    Sony Bravia TV: Any Good?

Sony Bravia is worth it. I inherited my Dads 60" which was bought in 2009 and it's still going strong. Most of the flat screens available these days usually last between 4-6 years.

    Pork Tenderloin

They got these little pork steaks at the HEB grocery stores here in Texas called Pork Ribeye Steaks. They're fatty, tender, yummy, and relatively cheap. I eat them on a weekly basis.

    Frequent Changes in Taste?

Hmm. For me, all things being equal, when the same tobacco blend smoked out of the same pipe starts to taste different, it's time for that pipe to be thoroughly cleaned. If this has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the pipes, then possibly it has to do with what you ate or drank before or...
