I'm not sure...Blind Pass was closed off due to dredging and shifting currents a few decades ago. The hurricanes played Hell with all the beaches in Sarasota...Time to bring in the offshore dredges and pump a few million dollars worth of sand on the beaches... The briar pipes I make are all 5/32-roughly 4mm...my bamboo pipes tend to be 3mm because of the carbon fiber or stainless tube I use- they tend to have smaller bowls. If you feel a draw is too open, just pack the tobacco tighter...- zack24

Florida’s coastline has changed dramatically- that village was well inland at the time. Apparently Florida used to be twice as large 26,000 years ago. On the Gulf side, the coastline was almost 100 miles further west...Florida Coastline during Ice Age- zack24

Ivory is a weird ansd wonderful material- I still have a little Elephant I’ve had for 35 years that I can’t ship across state lines and have switched to Mammoth, which actually can be very white depending on the piece.....It’s a Mammoth pain to turn a dot that small....- zack24
