Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

I’ve not tried that one yet. I’ll put it on the list.

Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

Looks like KBV has special curly in stock currently, but WCC doesn’t

Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

I’m loading up a cart now. Looks like PH Special Curly is hard to acquire these days. Adding OD to the mix for sure.

Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

I’ve not had anything else quite like it. Thoughts on Stockton?

Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

Sounds like OD is different… but also amazing? 😅

Trying Different Blends - HU Directors Cut

Not sure if it qualifies as a beginner question, as I've been smoking off and on for a while, but the "if you like this, then you will like that" sort of thing has caused me to buy far more things that I don't like than stuff that I'd love to keep cellared forever. I assume this is the same for...

    TAD Acquisitions 2025

Was happy to acquire some of my beloved Sutliff Maple Shadows and some CS Cowboy coffee in a fantastic trade with @burleyboy75. Also had some samples of KBV and some other things I’ve not tried before. Now to find the time to smoke them all!

Luxury Bullseye Flake, 5 yrs old

I guess my taste buds haven’t made the transition away from Latakia and DFK as of yet, which is what I’ve been told will happen over time. Or maybe I’ve just not smoked LBF that’s old enough to walk yet. 😅

    Mad Men

I remember downloading the episodes via Apple iTunes back in the 2008 timeframe. Was a revolutionary style of show. Not many period pieces had been done well to that point, IMO, with the level of writing and resources.

    2024 Cowboy Coffee.

I love it. But everyone's palette is different, which is what makes this hobby great!

    2024 Cowboy Coffee.

I'm a huge fan of Cowboy Coffee... hope it never goes away. Same with Shepherd's Pie, probably even more so. I've got friends that love Tombigbee, and I keep trying to like it... Maybe I will eventually. These days, I'm nursing Sutliff Maple Shadows, which to me is like a slightly lighter...

    Jim's Per Jensen Legacy Reviews.

Thankfully, I missed it. LOL. Still making my way through last year's Gawith "drop"... Also looking forward to trying Brothers in Arms. Sounds delicious!

    Jim's Per Jensen Legacy Reviews.

Can't wait to try these new blends. I wonder if there's any unspoken homage to the HH line...

@RustiePyles CPG sent you a DM, not sure if there's a better way for contact. Thanks!

    Custom Amber PLip Cut Stem

I'm definitely in the market for one (or more) of these custom stems! :col:

    Pipe Shops in SC?

The closest B&M to me (within 30 minutes drive) in Charleston SC, closed it's doors several months back. I'm curious if there are any folks from the area here or if anyone knows of another one other than McCranies in Charlotte. I'm open to making the drive, but wish for the days of the "local"...

    Will Syrian Latakia Return?

I saw somewhere on YT an interview with Jeremy Reeves and he said that it was unlikely to make a comeback, given the amount of effort it would take and the relatively small amount of tobacco that the pipe smoking community would use (albiet something that we think of as "large quantities")

STG Mac Baren/Sutliff Purchase - A Few Words from STG's Leonard Wortzel

@leonardw I appreciate the candor and effort to provide clarity in a scenario that is rife with rumors and high emotions associated with the known and fear of the unknown. I will cast my small vote for bringing "small batch" lines back into production, as they serve a much-loved function in...

    Where to go in Philadelphia?

https://www.visitphilly.com/media-center/press-releases/cheesesteak-101-a-primer-on-the-who-what-where-whiz-of-philly-cheesesteaks/ From the time I spent there, my favorite non-cheez-whiz-smothered sandwich was at Cleavers. They had a smoked roast beef that was to die for. Perhaps more fancy...
