A strange experience with HH Latakia flake

I have never cube cut it but I bought and popped my tin about 8 months ago and I JUST put it in jars this week. It was still moist after all of this time. As previously mentioned I usually give it 15 min to dry and then I rub out a little to have a base at the bottom of the bowl, fold and stuff...

    The Diamond-Shanked Bulldog

Al, Those are gorgeous and my favorite shape by far. I don't like the tall bowl on the first couple of pics. I prefer the squat bowl and a slight bend. I just picked up a Tinsky and one from forum member zack24 (Zack Hamrich). I need about 25 more and then I will be good :)

    Good Night With Cigrmaster (Harris)

Thanks so much for the update Zack. I was just diagnosed with a L5 S1 bulging disk. Will Greta make me some risotto and smoke some Stonehaven in that awesome bulldog of yours that I acquired in December????? I know NJ is a haul, but I love risotto and Stonehaven. Hopefully Harris can get back on...

Found a B&M wet shave store....

Damn Kevin, If I had a place like that near my I would probably never leave. I haven't had an old fashion shave like that since I got out of the Marine Corps. THAT PLACE was great. You could smoke cigars and shoot the breeze with the fellas while watching football or whatever.

    1 Year on the Forum

Congrats on your milestone. I think most of us learned more in our first 6 months here than going it alone. I know I have. Glad you have stayed the course.

    Three restorations I just finished

It's nice to see when some folks reach a level of acquisition that makes them discard pipes and others pick up the ball and show them the love they deserve. Good on you

What Does "Spend More for a Bargain" Mean?

One of my favorite quotes is "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." While the meaning is a bit askew compared to the article, I felt that in a small way it is relative.

    Two levels of tobacco dryness

Of all the topics discussed I can't believe no one has tried this. I usually don't dry out my tobacco too much, but I could see this being the remedy.
