    Pipes and gaming

When I think of "gaming", I think of Dungeons and Dragons type of games. Reading "The Hobbit" and the LOTR series is what got me into pipe smoking, so if I am playing D&D a few pipes and some baccy will be getting smoked.

    My Wife Made Me This.

That might be the coolest thing ever. It's thoughtful, practical, and she did it for you. Outstanding.

    Ryan Alden Cutty (Pictures)

I also just recently received one of Ryan's pipes and am smoking it as I type on this dreary Wednesday morning. Only my 4 th bowl so still breaking her in but this thing smokes itself. I just LOVE the blast. It was the brandy blowfish if you go to his site. Can't seem to get the link to copy on...

    Penzance at P&C

I totally don't understand the hunt. I, like others, either personally or over the phone frequent smaller shops. I buy cigars, cleaners, and other tobaccos and pay a bit more for those things but have established a relationship with theses folks. Having been in sales for the past 20 years I know...

    Where'd the FVF go?

Bigpond, Have a little patience. It will be everywhere in a few months. I remember when Wessex BCDF, Astley's 44, and a few others were all the rage. You would get "in stock" notifications via email and 5 min later it was all sold out. Now you can pick up 10 tins of all of it everywhere. These...

    Pipelist

That is HYSTERICAL. I have about 5 tins of 3 yr old Pelican. I would sell them at $50/tin if I thought I could get it. $65/tin???? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Annual Summer Pipe Fest @ Michael Parks' Workshop (Picture Heavy)

Pat, Thanks so much for sharing. I am really glad you gents had a great time. I did want to make the trip but it just didn't work out. Glad the weather wasn't too bad, but I guess even if it snowed 18 inches you Canucks would have made the trip. Hopefully we get to meet in person soon. Dan

    Pipe smokers reputation

This is a great thread. One of my favorite and most relaxing moment was in 2000. The mortgage industry in the US was booming and as young man of 30 was working over 60 hours per week but killing it. A coworker and I went to a cigar store (back before NJ basically outlawed smoking in public)...

Tea Drinkers - What Online Stores Do You Use?

Pruss is the man to ask when it comes to all things coffee and tea. I am sure he will respond if he sees this. I have recently placed an order with Enjoying Tea and was happy with their shipping prices and selection.

Do you Cellar or just Smoke?

This right here is part of the reason I cellar. I also like to think I will be rewarded in a few years with blends that have had some time to sleep and upon awakening will provide me with a better smoke than if I fired up today.

    Morning Smoke?

So I am not the ONLY one who does this. Thanks for the affirmation Les

(IN STOCK ALERT) John Alyesbury luxury flake

I hear you there. I never had the Balkan Sobranie so I have never jumped on the gotta have it train. I just got lucky last year when P&C had that "buy more than 8 tins and the per tin price was like $8.96" or something like that. I put in an order for 12 (because I'm a cheap bastard and wanted...

JR Cigars to Change Business Model.

They need one in Southern NJ. If they need commercial real estate help I would be more than happy to show them around.
