    95%

I was off work for quite some time with 3 herniated discs and the resulting damage that goes with it. I got a job a few months ago with a Security Company that enabled me to work along a semi-retirement status. Still not enough to keep me busy. Monday, I began a paid 6 week training course...

    Got My Fingers Slapped

On another site, a guy has a packaged roll, or 4 50gm tins of Balkan Sobranie for sale. Says he was nearing offer of $300.00 for it, but would sell it for $250.00. I commented that I thought it was ridiculous price and I thought sites were not here for "Making money". Administrator sent me...

    My Baccy Came Today

When I got home today and checked the mail, my baccy was here. It is always a good day, but me thinks me needs a much bigger cabinet. I took a count, and there are 43 blends in it now. Well today's baccy was, MacBarren's Mixture Scottish Blend, MacBarrens Old Dark Fired, Carter Hall, and Storm...

    More Baccy Coming From 4noggins

Ordered yesterday: Storm Front, Carter Hall, MacBarren's Old Dark Fired, MacBarren's Mixture Scottish Blend I have really become quite fond of MacB's Mixture for some reason and Carter Hall is just a good relaxing, no effort smoke. What I am really excited about is Storm Front. I have read so...

The Pipes are Cool, But the Letter is Interesting.

Hey ya'll, you have to check this out. I had to read the letter through a magnifying glass but it was well worth it. Very interesting indeed. Makes me want these pipes just for the significance of it all...

Stonehaven compared to St. James Flake

I am curious. I have loads of Stonehaven and while I like it, I am not crazy about it. I have been thinking of St. James Flake alot lately and many members seem to like it. I was wondering which is preferable?

BriarBid, How many pipes are listed?

How many pipes are listed on Briarbid? I make it 66, as far as I can tell. I am asking because I am not sure if I am viewing all of them. There are some very good buys there. I think I had better register today.

    Old, Old, Old Tobacco

Does anyone know or remember this brand of Tobacco. Was just browsing Kijiji and come across it. http://annapolis.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLargeImage?AdId=420616425

    Dam Walnut is Becoming Addictive

I simply cannot understand it. Walnut is fast becoming my favorite smoke. It is cool, gentle, relaxing and effortless, not to mention dirt cheap. $29.00 will get you a 12oz tub. The equivalant of 6 tins for half the price. Now I know it is not for everyone but for some reason I am finding it...

    Restoration Complete on Dunhill Tanshell

I would like you guys to be 100% honest with me. This took me a total of about 11 hours from start to finish. I removed 95% of the Oxidation on the stem via "Old School" and finished it off with Walkerbriar Stem Restore Kit and then a coat of Carnuba Wax/Sealer. The bowl was reamed, and scrubbed...

How Long Does Your Zippo Last?

I find, with my Zippo, that after it is filled, if I don't use it for even a couple days it is empty. The fuel evaporates much to fast. It is not an old lighter as I bought it new and am still on the same can of fuel. Do they all evaporate this fast?

My First "Awsome" Smoke In 17 Years.

I have many, many pipes. All different prices, shapes, sizes and brands. Some are new, some are old, some are relics. I have totally enjoyed my pipes for years and have defended the smoking qualities of more than a few, because they are considered "Low End". To many people who have scorned low...

    Member Sent Me Some Imagine

A nice member on here sent me a few bowls of Imagine. I am smoking a bowl of it right now, in an African Meer. Sort of taking my time with it but it will take a few bowls before one can begin to make a decision.

    My Dunhill Tanshell Group 4

Picked this up today for what I feel is a reasonable price, from a Flea Market guy. He wanted $125.00 for it, and I told him he was crazy. Anyway, I finally got it, a Dunhill Tanshell, Group 4, for $50.00. Needs alot of cleanup, but no cracks or damage other than some rim buildup and char. I can...

Sorry Guys But Kijiji Hits Again.

Got a call today from a guy only a few miles away. He has 9 or 10 pipes but he wants to trade me for "small junk and antiques", as he calls it. He is a professional yard saler or flea market vendor. I told him I had no "smalls" but would like to see his pipes. He told me some names that were on...

    Member Jaysin Has Contacted Me

I would just like everyone to know, Jaysin has contacted me today, via PM. He had been having a difficult time, but I think he is coming around. He acknowledged an obligation, and has assured me he will be sending my tobacco that was won via a Raffle. I was very glad to hear from him and would...

I Just May Have Found My Go To Baccy, Now I'm Happy

50/50 Walnut and Lanes 1-Q makes a very nice, relaxing smoke. Burns all the way down to 1/4 of the bowl on just one light after the char light. No heat, no bite, no goopyness in the bowl. You still have the 1-Q room note and it is Wife approved. Best of all is 4oz of 1-Q and 4oz of Walnut is 8oz...

Maybe a New Member on the Forum

I was at Walmart today, it was the Grand Opening of the new Store. Had to pick up a Birthday present for my Daughter. There was a guy playing a Mandolin or something similiar, and singing. While I was in line waiting to pay for my purchase, he was walking by to go on a break. I seen a Cardboard...
