Lighters: Brebbia 'Bowl Flame' Pipe Lighter

Anyone tried one of these? These are new on TobaccoPipe.com. I favor my old boy lighters, but this looks interesting so long as the wide flame does not burn the rims. The built-in tools are nice, so long as it’s not too bulky in the pocket. Any thought?

    Savinelli Shop In Milan

Frankly, the shop was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. There were some nice Savinelli lighters, and I picked up an old boy and a few of their new Pearl-stemmed pipes which were only 105 euros. The time here is 6 hours ahead of US ET. By the way, I’m glad I had my US bank covert some...

    Turkish Latakia v. Cyprian Latakia

The latest batch of GLP’s Horizons has really made me appreciate the taste and quality of Turkish Latakia. It’s also found in another one of my favorites, Cornell & Diel’s “From Beyond.“ To my palate, it’s far superior to the Cyprian Latakia found in blends like GLPs Spark Plug or Quiet Nights...

    Pressing Some Haunted Bookshop

Maybe it’s the burley, but I just can’t board the vaunted Haunted Bookshop bandwagon. After staring at several tins for some time, I finally got out the old spaghetti press and made a few 2oz, five-day pressed cakes to try and make it more interesting. We shall see…
