I’m my opinion that blend peaks at 10 years. Almost every old baccy I’ve sampled ages out after that. Still good, just not exceptional I’m currently smoking some 6 year old and it’s just fantastic.- ashdigger

Great Find!! Looks to be from 1924. Commemoratives don’t have grade stamping that I’ve ever seen. The price is killer too. -

First, that’s a nice Meer. Second, here’s my educated guess based handling a metric ton of meers. The bowl doesn’t concentrate the smoke and combustions byproducts like the shank. The shank gets it all in a concentrated area.- ashdigger
