How Many Blends Do You Smoke?

This is an interesting question, one that has come up before, and one that makes me think that the option to create an occasional poll would be a great addition to the site. I try to limit my open rotation to 15-ish, though many of the open jars are blending tobaccos--burleys, Periques...

    My first Butz (before pics)

Looks good spyder--it's been my experience that if the outside looks like that in a pic it's ripe for restoring, with the caveat that I've learned to enquire with the seller as to the condition of the chamber, as I've been burned, as it were, with burnt-out walls. BC is on my to-get list for...

    Flavor strength in aromatics

Peterson's Holiday 2010 has a wonderful cookies & cream + espresso flavor AND aroma--one of the best aromatics ever. If you can find any, get it. Also try Vauen's Espressotobak, available at smokingpipes.com. Not stellar, but very good.

Can Someone in USA Explain What the Heck These Are:

They appear to be double-wall thermoplastic cups, darlin'. I doubt they were intended for tobacco storage, as Red Man is a chewing tobacco and I don't think they have a lid; they are more likely just some promotional schwag that went with a gift package of tobacco. For storage stick with...

I love me some Cairo :puffy: In the vein of VaPerO, try GLP Embarcadero & C&D Sunday Picnic--two stellar examples.

Why did you first pick up a pipe?

An ex-girlfriend gifted me my first, a Sasieni billiard, when I became a minister in the Church of the SubGenius. Took me a little while to really get the hang of it, but it's definitely a passion of mine now.

Savinelli Meile Honey Pipe, any thoughts?

I've had my eye on this line for a while, and the honey-dipper tamper is a great accessory to boot. Savinelli also has a cafe' line as well as a mocha line, that are infused with essences of coffee and chocolate, respectively. It's a cute marketing angle, but I doubt the flavor would be affected...

Why did you join Pipesmagazine.com ?

I'd been smoking a pipe for about 18 years on a very occasional basis, but had never had a eureka moment that made me really understand how pleasurable it could be. I stopped smoking cigarettes a year ago, and the pipe called to me again...I decided to do a little research, and checked out...
