    Pipe Gurgle or Stomach Gurgle?

I know nicotine is considered to be an appetite suppressant, but I am the exact opposite. After a pipe or cigar, ai go straight to the kitchen looking for something to eat and I rarely ever want to smoke after a meal.

    New Brigham Pipe

Some people buy filtered pipes for smoking Argos because they are gonna be wet, no matter what. I have multiple Stanwell 11’s, but I only use the filters on my aro dedicated pipe. Also, I always used the Sav. Baslawood type.

*** What Are You Smoking?*** (June 2019)

Working on a bowl of very young, less than 3 weeks from can date, bowl of GL Pease Union Square in a Stanwell 11 Amber. Quite harsh but I think this blend has potential for me after some time in the jar. Mellow sweetness is pure clean tobacco with a very slight tang.

    Fewer Blends, An Upside?

As much as I like all the exotic Burley Flakes for the concentrations of flavor and the tanginess of a good straight Va., I can honestly say that if I had to smoke on Sir Walter Raleigh for the rest of my time, I'd be more than pleased. It was the 3rd tobacco I tried and the only one that I've...

Dunhill Blends to Return? - Hearsay

Warren, this is a very clear and true point. Of course, since I starting smoking a pipe 2 years ago, I’m pining for the 3rd/4th generation clone, not the original. I could care less what name was on the tin. Dunhill Flake was just one of those tobaccos for me that when I opened my 1st tin and...

    Fewer Blends, An Upside?

I'm quite new to pipe smoking, but this question is relative to my current situation. When I started, I was overwhelmed by all the choices and recommendations from fellow smokers. I went a little nuts and in the 1st 3-4 moths found myself with 20-30 jarred tobaccos of various types. I started...

Dunhill Blends to Return? - Hearsay

Great point. Probably one of the reasons that the European dealers aren't shipping tobacco here anymore. Too much red tape and it's too easy to screw something up and break a ridiculous regulation. Based on Sables post above, it looks like the loss is most likely to US customers since there...

Dunhill Blends to Return? - Hearsay

I was in my local pipe shop yesterday afternoon, poking around to see what he had in tins. I was pretty shocked to find 2 tins of Royal Yacht and a few other Dunhill tobacs. He was not previously a Dunhill shop so I asked about the tins, which were priced at standard retail. He mentioned that...
