    Medium bulk Virginia Flake

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I think I'll set my sights on SG's 250g Best Brown Flake. Hopefully it will be in stock sometime at the end of the month when I'm able to put in a large order.

    Medium bulk Virginia Flake

Hi folks, I wanted to add some Virginias to my cellar and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm trying to find A) a straight Virginia B) In Flake form C) of medium strength D) in bulk Most of the stuff in bulk is lighter than I prefer or laced with Perique. Any help would be great...

    Best very full bodied English?

Levant mixture is supposed to be pretty heavy for an English, I haven't tried it yet, it has Perique, and Sextant is nice and heavy if you like Kentucky.

    Layers

The parfait! I did that often when I began smoking but stopped when I found blends that I appreciated for their own idiosyncracies.

    Mr Brog

I'm curious about their pear wood and cherrywood pipes, but I can't get behind the looks. I find them hideous.

    Sweetest Latakia Blends Out There?

I second SG Perfection. It has a slight vanilla topping, if that's your thing.

    Requesting Copies

I was not familiar with the FDA regulations. From what I can make out, no new blends after Aug 8, 2016?

    Requesting Copies

Given that some blends, including Penzance and Stonehaven, are perpetually out of stock, why doesn't another blender bother to make a faithful copy? Escudo has a number of clones, from LBF to Dunhill's Deluxe Navy Rolls. Why should this be any different? Having been unfortunate enough to have...

Why Are There Few Perique Aromatics?

Pease The Virginia Cream has Perique. Never tried it though.

The Best place to order tobacco online

I'll put together carts from Smokingpipes and Pipes and Cigars for each order and then select the cheapest. It seems Pipes and Cigars is more often out of blends.

    Black point - GLP aged

I can't hold onto the GLP stuff long enough to age it.

Why the big love with English blends? Smell is terrible

I had an aversion to Latakia the first few months. It took some Scotch to make it work.

    C&D Billy Budd Review

Never had Billy Budd but I have had Key Largo and Robusto--Key Largo was nice. Andullo by Lane is currently in the basket. Unfortunately home blending cigar leaf didn't quite work out.

    One hundred Blends!

When I first started smoking I couldn't smoke enough blends. Now a few years later I stick to just a few for whatever reason.

    Jim's Dunhill Dark Flake Review.

I was able to score some 221b Baker's St. when this first came out. I haven't seen it since.

    Complexity

Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I often read about the complexity of certain tobaccos. I was wondering, what would be your definition of complexity, and which blends do you think are a good showcase for complexity.
