Small 10 minute smoke pipe
I have a pair of Mizzous and a Huck Finn that I use for shorter smokes (in my case, closer to half an hour while walking), though I'm considering picking up a smaller briar or two. I have one of the Tsuge Blowfish, too, and it smokes quite nicely.- phred

When it's cold outside, even a Sav 320 is a clencher
I found mine (Rossi 8320, same shape) to be surprisingly comfortable when clenched. Don't know that I'd go out lunting with it, but I don't wind up holding it the way I do my churchwardens, which was what I kind of expected... -

My best smoker is probably my Stanwell Zebrano, which I mostly smoke Va/Per blends in. I'm still quite fond of my Bjarne Viking, even though it's prone to gurgling - it was my first pipe, so there's some sentimental attachment there.- phred

Smoking Outside in Weird Weather

At both Sea-Tac and Denver International, the convenience stores on the concourses carry Zippo lighters, with big placards stating that TSA regulations allow ONE Zippo in one's carry-on luggage (the implication, of course, being that you should buy one...). It's Really Cold
