    Oh yeah ? My PAD wishlist has grown exponentially since joining this forum. I think it's healthy so long as you aren't going into debt to buy pipes. If you're looking to buy from Ronish, I will say that he's incredibly communicative and pleasant to work with.

    It was made by Joshua Ronish. This specific piece wasn't commissioned but I know he regularly accepts custom requests. The stem is juma (my first) and the accent inlay is fossilized mammoth tusk. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty stoked!

    Very helpful, Craig. Thank you! Perhaps Keller would make me a custom morta with ultra-thick walls to account for some of the burning I may experience. Longevity is very important to me, so I will take your advice on letting some cake build to protect it.

    Do you find that morta gets any hotter than briar? I've heard some horror stories about them burning through quickly. That is currently my only reservation on pulling the trigger in purchasing one.
