Been missing the pipes past day or so but I'm going to work in a bowl or two tonight. Starting out right now with a chamber crammed full of Killarney in the Ed's swan neck with some Red Diamond rerunning Tora Tora Tora.
I'm buying to cellar latakia forward blends currently because I think it will dry up soon or become very expensive. I don't know much about it though so there is that. I'm not worried about va or burs or most of it because we make that here.
I'm sticking with the BI changing to my recently inherited Dr Grabow Westbrook patent nr rig pipe wise. Second time I've smoked it this run should tell me if it's one of the best I've smoked or not. Love this pipe I think it's an early one. This time with the Mountain Valley Spring Water and...
24 hour tray dried 50/50 mix of PS Navy Flake/Grand Prix in the 5" Ed's billiard smallest pipe I own. Burns cool with almost no relights required. Sort of a cinnamon toasty flavor with slight pepper hit to it. Goes great with sweet tea. Probably great with coffee too.
Sunday evening I love it! Loading up a 50/50 mix of PS Navy and Grand Prix that's been drying on the tray for about 4-5 hours. The pipe is going to be the second example of the Ed's 21 shape I have. Red Diamond and Big Trouble in Little China.
Starting my evening relaxation time with a bowl of the 300 Blend in the Savenelli Linea 76 02. Also having a couple Rolling Rocks not sure how this is going to go over but I'm going to try.
Okay a little over a third of the way into this bowl with this pipe and it is one of the best pipes I own or have smoked. No relights required (nicely dried out good tobacco loaded properly) burns cool and smooth like a river rock and has a sweet taste too. I'm very fortunate.
Interesting pipe this one...cant wait to see how it smokes and I'm fixing to find out. Teds Blend #1 in the Westbrook Dr Grabow. Sprite. The Pink Panther is the movie.
