Fair enough. I know what you mean by overlighting. I've been guilty of that before. I usually use my Xikar pipe lighter and kiss the flame to the tobacco. Tamp and repeat. Nope To Plasma Lighter
I've never had much luck with this don't touch flame to the tobacco method. Probably I am just too damn impatient. Is there much difference in flavor? I am careful not to scorch the briar at least.- elessar

I don't travel too much these days either. This time was an exception. Took my dad and my son camping. Where to Hide Valuables at Home. Tips Please.
Buy a decent looking safe and put it in an almost hidden obvious location. Then hide all the stuff elsewhere using methods described above. Let them worry about working on/removing the safe while the alarm goes off.- elessar
