    I was thinking of ordering som of Sam Gawith's Westmoreland Mixture.Looks to be a nice Latakia blend but I am curious,it seems to be flavoured with Tonquin Beans, I have never heard of them.Can anyone enlighten as to what they are and what the flavour is. Tom

    Cleaning vulcanite stems

    I use a briar polish to spruce up my bowls and it works fine but I have not got around to anything for the vulcanite stems. What do you folks use. :puffy:

    Breaking in new pipe

    I wonder if anyone has a favourite way of breaking in a new pipe.If it is a briar I like to put a very thin smear of honey inside the bowl for the first fill.Only briars,Cobs and clays baccy straight in as with meers.It would be interesting to hear of any other preferences
