1920s Era Dunhill -to clean and sell or just sell

As for price....... I fully intend on selling on ebay for .99 cents and let the market dictate the price. I got it and several other pipes from the same era for about $88.00, so as long as I make over $88.00 my wife will be happy;]

1920s Era Dunhill -to clean and sell or just sell

Does the fact that it is from the 20s effect it possible market value?

1920s Era Dunhill -to clean and sell or just sell

I'll post some pictures tonight. In my own humble opinion, on a scale from 1-10 this pipe is a 6, maybe a 7. Nomenclature is ok, in fact I would say that is its only apparent flaw (to a newbie that is). You can clearly see: Dunhill London and on the other side: Innertube along with other...

1920s Era Dunhill -to clean and sell or just sell

All, Looking for a bit of advice. I have acquired a 1920s era Dunhill and am fully planning on selling it. The question is, should I clean it and risk damaging it or sell it as is. The pipe is fairly good condition for being close to 90 years old. Thoughts?

    Comoy's 366

Sadly no stem. I doubt I can find an exact match replacement stem, but sablebrush gave me a few links to start with. I wanted to let you know Al that I used some of your methods from restoring your Kaywoody to do some restore work of my own, especially with pulling the threads for a stinger.

    Comoy's 366

All, I am new to pipes, both smoking and restoration and have just acquired a Comoy's 366 which as far as I can tell is a Liverpool? Few things I could really use some help with. First, it doesn't have a stem so can I buy new stem? Second, how old is this pipe and how can I find out? Thanks for...

    Kaywoodie Flame Grain 99B Restored

"Some Super fine (00 Grade)"? What is this? Is it sandpaper??? Curious as to products you used? I have at least ten pipes with stingers most which need refinishing. I was actually thinking about buying an electroplate kit in order to restore the stingers. Thanks for the tip about removing the...

    Kaywoodie Flame Grain 99B Restored

Great restore! I myself am just getting into restoration of old pipes and I have picked up at least 20 pipes to work on. Being new to the craft I have questions. Looking at this pipe I noticed the little metal piece that connecting the stem to the stummel (Wood?). What is this piece called? Of...
