    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Excellent! Yeah I'm getting pretty fond of the Axis lock style as well -

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Ok cool. Yeah I'm looking at that sharpening puck somebody mentioned before as a kind of starting place. Was at Bass Pro the other day as well and they had a rack of different models of a belt sharper called Work Sharp that looked intriguing, I'll have to do more digging on that. Fairly...

Estate Pipes Nice To Look At, But-

I started with my Grandpa's and over the years bought some estates at antique shops, had a few made and given to me by family and friends but over the past year or so. Honestly, my MM cob is probably my most smoked pipe!

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Dang :/ I didn't know there were restrictions on knives like that in NY as well. Yeah I definitely have a backup edc knife for travel as well for the same reason. Hard to fight back a hatchet attack with a toothpick.

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Very nice! Yeah those Griptilians were appealing too, I think the Osborne just seemed "classic" to me, but definitely open to other stuff in the future -

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

I'd eventually love to have a shop area at home with a bench grinder! For now I'll find something I can learn with and grow into before the shop arrives!

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Cool. I've heard great things about those Spyderco Sharpmakers. I'm definitely a noob in this world as well, but I want to get good enough to just do it at myself when needed.

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Well - I went with the Benchmade 940 Osborne, have been carrying it for about a week now and love it! Next question - what is ya'll preferred method of knife sharpening?

    Grandma Outdid Herself

Gorgeous pipe and an even better story! Thank you for sharing! Could be a "special occasion" pipe, or perhaps one that you smoke once a year on your Great Grandad's birthday. Cheers!

    Colored Stems

The world of tobacco and pipe design is vast and varied! To each their own, but I tend to agree that a black vulcanite or some sort of wood stem just looks and feels "classic pipe" to me.

    How to Re-Hydrate Pipe Tobacco

I have a near full tin of Drew Estate "Harvest on Hudson" from 2012 (forgotten about and quite dry) and a half full, opened a month and a half ago tin of Mac Baren's Danish Mixture that could also use a little moisture. I thought the Hudson smelled heavily of tea when I reopened it, so I used a...

    What's Your Preferred EDC Knife?

Ha! That's fantastic! Appreciate the response. You mentioned having had that knife for 6 years, that's what I'm looking forward to in the purchase of a quality knife, something well built that'll last a lifetime. I'm not a collector per se, so I imagine I'll buy my first, maybe a second to have...
