    I use it to break in new pipes as it tends to form a nice cake and also as a mild blender to cut other burly based blends that are punchier than I like.

    Have you tried the Stokkebye flakes? Luxury Navy Flake and Luxury Twist Flake? These are also quite good, readily available, and affordable. Worthy of another mention are C&D Derringer and Yorktown- both tasty blends available in bulk. Give 'em a try.

    Have you tried a parfait with the heavier nic blend on top? Who knows till you try it if it would be better, but in this case, I'd probably go with a bit of Kelly's coin or something a bit more neutral instead of the more assertive flavor of Kendal Dark to amp up the nic. Just a thought.

    The sticker on this tin was dated 3/27/18. There is a little bit of corrosion on the lid which dropped some oxidized debris on the paper underneath but the cakes were in great shape. 4- 2 oz. blocks of rum infused goodness. Mmmm...

    2019 Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky in a Baronet bruyere 510. The pipe is plenty big for two of the small flakes, but one gives a nice 45 min smoke. Since this stuff is no longer available, I think I'll stick with one flake at a time and make it last a little longer.

    I'll also suggest Sutliff private stock Taste of Summer. The cavendish gives a nice mouthfeel and the peach flavoring is mild but pleasant.
