    No. I love latakia, amd while those 2 blends are very light on it, i think it's the buttery-forward oriental presentation im looking for. I think. Might be better with a heavier lat portion or perhaps not. But butter is the target here.

    Been trying to dry some MM American Patriot and its no dryer after 3 days out. Cased/topped tobaccos are pretty much impossible to dry here in the Highland clouds.

    Any ideas? I've thought maybe trying a jar with some dessicant packs on a layer under the tobacco (so as not to make contact). It's rough in the tropics. Some leaf seems to actually get wetter, out of the tin/jar.

    VaPers are just Virginia and perique. Any other component like oriental/lat/burley/cav/ makes it something other than a vaper.

    I think the best setup for ME would be: 4 English/balkan/oriental 2 standbys and 2 rotating - heavy and light of each. 1 VaPer 1 Virginia 1 Aro 1 codger 1 KDF 2-3 new to try. So ideally about 12 at any time is what I'm going to try and aim for.

    Also, 10-15 seconds between sips is very respectable. 60 is just masochistic. No one does that unless competing in a slow smoke contest. Check out my recent post on "cadence" to see what works for others.

    Just smoke and enjoy. You'll figure far more out on your own through trial and error than by someone explaining their subjective experiences. Of course, don't hesitate to ask or talk about it here... Its what we do here anyway! But you will always be your best teacher so just keep at it and...

    Clenching without...clenching?

    Let it sit on the bottom teeth while hanging with the bit's button hooked behind your top teeth to keep from slipping out. No need to really "clench" per se.
