    Restrictions in NJ?

    I'm thinking Ashes and Embers in Somerville. The New Jersey Fellowship of Pipe Smokers meets at JR Cigar in Whippany on the second Thursday of the month 6-9pm. There are no restrictions or requirement to buy when using their lounge/bar. All are welcome to join us.

    I smoke a lot of Sam Gawith's Celtic Talisman, which has a light cherry topping. I enjoy it and it is wife approved.

    Try Poison Ivy Soap, if there is a place near you that carries it. You can look it up online at pioson ivy soap co. My son in law got into some last summer and we sent him a couple bars, he said it worked great.

    The Pipes are Cool, But the Letter is Interesting.

    In reading the description it also states that this is set number 9 and the first set was given to the President. So if I read this correctly it is a used set of pipe like ones given to a President and limited to 25 sets total. What's the big deal if they didn't actually belong to the President...

    Postman Came :-) & A Pipe ID Request

    Are you positive the screw in top is meer? I have a similar design, but enameled and painted dragon and thought the pipe to be Japanese and maybe a bone or ivory cap, not meer. I have seen some on the bay and think there is one listed currently.

    Into Shooting?

    I'm a Bullseye shooter, use a Hammerli 280 for .22 and convert it to .32 for centerfire, and a Caspian for the .45 portion. I also compete in CMP with a custom built Beretta 92F. Have 2 S&W 686's, a Hammerli Trailside .22, a Remington 1100 Trap, a Remington .22 and a Henry lever .22 for fun.
