    Mostly aromatics that they got through airport Duty Free; Exhausted Rooster came up quite a bit. They were very complimentary of the Maltese Falcon though and I was glad to spread the word about SmokingPipes; HK customs is fairly lax about small amounts of pipe tobacco.

    Just popped some Rich Dark Flake in my Moretti chimney that I got for Christmas from a very generous friend. I'm going to miss RDF when I leave the UK and I'm considering buying one of those 500g factory bags and sending it across the pond for cellaring!

    I've been using a pinstripe Kritibi Kabuto that I received earlier last month. It's been great, but I just ordered one of those Chinese ST Duponts which seem to be quality (surprisingly). I'll probably be using that concurrently with the Kabuto.

    Just to cap off this thread, I decided after a couple coffee ground soakings that I'd bite the bullet and send this Red Bark off to Walker Pipe Repair for Ozone treatment and a full restoration rather than try a retort, which likely isn't a viable option in my college dorm room.

    It's really hard to explain what's in this pipe. It's vaguely perfumed, but it isn't rose. It's more dull than that. Definitely a woman's fragrance though.
