Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey, Is It Me Or...

Opened a pouch of Borkum Riff Bourbon Whiskey about a week ago and it was really dry. I never had a problem keeping it lit, although the flavor was awful, and I got rid of it after about two bowls. -Jim

    What Is Your Contemplative Blend?

IMO, Blue Note by Dan Pipe Tobacco. Thoroughly good, but not at all complex. A good blend if I am reading or studying, as I don't have to think about it too much. -Jim

The change of seasons and tobacco

Personally, I lean more towards heavier latakia and VaPer blends in the winter/fall months, while primarily puffing on aromatics as it starts to warm up during the spring/summer months. -Jim

    Frozen Kirsten

You may be able to just heat the pipe up by smoking it, and then try to remove the stem. Heat usually causes the stem material to shrink a little. I'm not an expert, but it seems to work for me. Good Luck! -Jim

Tobaccos for the Newbie to Avoid Tongue Bite?

Altadis Black cordial. It's an aromatic, but you can smoke it straight out of the pouch with no dry time, and you don't have to worry about tongue bite. Easy on the wallet too, as it comes in bulk. Good luck and happy puffing! :puffy: -Jim
