    At the 2019 Chicago Pipe Show I was handed a cigarette from a cutter top can. Probably 1950's vintage. It tasted like the best virginia blend I'd ever had and smoked like a cigar. At one point I had an inch long ash. On a cigarette.

    I can probably pull that off, so long as you're willing to wait for the built in cabinet pics. I'm on the hook for all the trim carpentry and cabinetry in the house and that one is way down on the priority list. First is the staircase that has to be done to get an occupancy permit.

    Currently, yes. But the Anderson 's were/have been at it for a long time. It's possible that they've changed their stamp. Contact Rose at Pipes and Pleasures in Columbus, OH and ask if she recognizes it as an older stamp.

    It's a decent hedge against the vagaries of briar, particularly if you have a favorite shape. I've bought and held for far too long pipes that I was very attracted to aesthetically, but weren't good smokers for one reason or another.
