Is This Kaywoodie Worth Fixing or Passing On?

It would be worth fixing to me, but then I like things like that.

Tobacco smoked at the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis?

I've got an original one of those that a little girl practiced writing her name on in 1931. I got it from her son-in-law several years ago.

    First Pipe, Briar Or Cob?

My first pipe was a briar. Then I tried MM cobs and am so satisfied with them that I see no reason to change. I do appreciate the beauty of many briars, but then I appreciate the simple beauty of a cob as well. I don't view them as starter pipes, just good pipes. They are what I recommend when...

    Finger or Tamper?

I use a small stick or some would say twig. They are everywhere I go, always handy and free. Pick one up, use it and throw away.

Confession of a pipe filter lover

Hahaha, I'll be the one you can speak to that uses a filter and loses No flavor of the smoke.

    Pipe Storage

My pipe "rack" is an open top carboard box in a small closet in the living room. My wife doesn't like the stale smell so I wipe them out with cheap rum on a paper towel each time. I've found it keeps the taste fresh for me as well.

    A Question On Dottle

When it gets near the bottom and goes out, I try a relight. If it won't hold the relight I just dump it.

Confession of a pipe filter lover

Not to say that you shouldn't use what you like, but a Dr. Graybow paper filter will pass a pipe cleaner. I've done it many times, not saying I planned it, but it does. ;)

    Smoking Frequency

Generally each evening and a few mornings.

    Learning to smoke Burleys

I'm one of those that have learned to skip almost anything with Burley in it. I do have a few blends with it that I need to find a new home for.

    My Jars Became Warm Today

Think, not very long ago, there weren't air conditioners. Tobacco got hot, heck it grows in hot weather, and was stored in hot weather.

    Desert Island Tobacco

One of Watch Cty's Virginia blends.

    WCC Rouxgaroux

I'll take it off your hands if you want to get rid of it. ;)

Jim's Watch City Simply Orange Virginia Review.

I've been enjoying Simply Orange for the last few days. It is a real nice Virginia having a natural sweetness and zest that many others lack.

    Love That Brand

By far, my favorite brand/blender is Watch City and their Va./VaPers.

    Rouxgaroux vs. Rhythm & Blues

I'm sure it's my taste. I have each on hand, but the Match Elizibethian is bland tasting to me. I don't have a thing against Sutliff tobaccos, I just don't get anywhere near the same taste in the two. LOL They also smell nothing alike to me, so I figure that applies as well.

    Rouxgaroux vs. Rhythm & Blues

Those two are among my favorites, each similar but different enough to enjoy both. Another close one to me is Simply Voriental. If I want something pleasingly sweet that smokes with no effort, I'll grab one of those three.

    Rouxgaroux vs. Rhythm & Blues

I found Sutliff's Match Elizabethan/Victorian bland in comparison to Rouxgaroux and R&B. Taste differences I know.
