Losing Flavor Halfway Through the Bowl
I'm learning that smoking slowly doesn't mean puff a few times and then let it sit, but rather use the breathing method to pull smoke in lightly, and even push some air back out through the pipe. I've really been able to taste more (and enjoy more of the aroma coming out from the pipe) doing it...- Eireprof

Perfect Pipe Collection. Less than 20 pipes.
I only have one at the moment. But I just got back into smoking after about 10 years off. I think eventually a dozen sounds like a solid rotation, but thinking about what that will cost me is a bit overwhelming. My current pipe is a Peterson and I’ll likely stick with them.- Eireprof

B&M Tin Etiquette
When purchasing tins from a B&M, is it okay to ask the proprietor for the oldest dated tins? Since I'm just starting to select tobaccos, and virginias especially do well with some age, I'd like to tryout some older stuff before stocking my own cellar.- Eireprof
