To Age, or Not to Age...That is the Question...

Great article. I try not to buy anything for the distinct purpose of aging. If it isn't appealing to me fresh, I wouldn't want to waste the space and time on it to see if it gets better. Most of my on purpose aging comes in the form of letting a blend air out a bet to get rid of some of the...

FVF And Cringle Flake Burn My Tongue Instantly.

Was the Cringle Flake also purchased after it was opened? I find Cringle Flake to be one of the more smooth VaPers out there.

    Morgan - Bones

I purchased 2 pipes from him about 3 years ago, and sadly, I just can't get them to smoke well. The draw is way too tight, and so they sit unused in drawer somewhere. Hopefully he fixed any issues he may have been having.

Sutliff: Crumble Kake Barrel Aged Series No.5 Rustica

Has anyone heard anything about this? I just saw it on SP this morning while browsing. Description: "Sun-cured rustica leaf joins zesty Virginias and nutty Burleys before the mixture is aged in bourbon barrels and pressed into a crumble cake, allowing the tobaccos to mellow and their flavors to...

    Room Note Importance

Well, I'll at least try smoking something with a more pleasing aroma. I really like Carter Hall and Prince Albert, would you guys say those room notes are attractive to the non-smoker?

    Clan Cob Unite!

I need to give my cobs some more love. I usually gravitate towards briar and meerschaum. I had some great smokes when first starting out in my cobs.

    Room Note Importance

Thankfully no one else gets in my work vehicle except for me, so what they smell is what is on my clothes. I've taken to wearing a "smoking jacket" which is just an old hoodie, and wearing a cap to help keep the smoke off of my work uniform.
