    I got the opportunity to get a tin of this McCrannies Red Ribbon 1983 crop tinned back in 1999 for a very fair price.     I wanted to compare Janneman with Reiner 71 back to back as I remember someone saying how similar they are. Having smoked a bowl of 71 last night in this same pipe and smoking this now I really don’t see much comparison. 71 is brighter and more perique.
