What Is With Petersons Using P-Lips For All Their New Releases?
I smoke Petersons exclusively. I do have one Vauen that was gifted to me and I like it quite a bit. My Petes are both p-lips and fishtails, vulcanite and acrylic. Excellent smokers all around. -

What is your Favorite Christmas Blend?
I guess it’s a name association thing, Saint Nicholas seems a Merry Monk (Jolly old elf), but more importantly, I suppose, is the room note that has a slight baking roast and sweet potato pie vibe. Peterson 221 vs 230?
I would go with the 221. You can always load half a bowl or come back to an half smoked bowl later. You can’t overfill a 230. On the flip side, if you like the feel of a smaller pipe or want to be able to stow it easily, then the 230 is your best bet.- Eireprof

How Hard is it to Burnout a Pipe?
I’ve been smoking for almost two decades, I never let cake build up, I have only about a dozen pipes so I smoke each one often. I’ve never had a burnout. Use soft flames and you should be good to go unless there is an imperfection in the briar. In that case you won’t be able to do anything about...- Eireprof
