Well it's been an odd month.... I came to the realisation that a) I don't get on with briar pipes, b) Falcon pipes are my thing, c) less is very definitely more. I've sold my briars. Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Del Boy always used to say really inappropriate or just plain wrong French phrases in an attempt to look sophisticated as posh people often slip in real French phrases to show their education. Well I've gone and bought a lovely little pipe that a) isn't a Falcon and b) isn't even English. What's happening to me?! What "The Wife" Thinks
My wife is fine with it and knows it de-stress me. I don't smoke indoors as I don't want to and I highly recommend a shed for these activities for the added bonus of other toys, plus peace and quiet. puffy- FalconForever

Ten Minute Tiny Pipes
What a fascinating thread. I never knew these existed. Some beautiful examples. As a Falcon fan I know they used to produce a range marketed as Bantam with a shorter stem and half size bowl. You can still get the bantam bowls to fit the full stems, but they don't look right to my eye and look...- FalconForever

Mac Baren Changing Design & Recipes Recently?
Perhaps leave it for a few days and then smell it? I noticed that a few brands I smoke fresh from the pouch didn't impress me but a second bowl over a few weeks later and they were a different thing. I wonder if the new plastics in pouches impart a smell just after opening that disappears. 🤷🏼♂️- FalconForever

Another Falcon Briar....
Okay so I tackled that Falcon Briar today. Good news is that the bowl really wasn't that bad. Light ream and clean inside followed by spit and coffee clean on the outside and a good polish. You'll laugh.... I have bought a meer lined bowl but I can't bring myself to use it yet as it's so pretty! I'm going to get another to try as never smoked meerschaum. There's a UK company that has a good range of hand carved ones from Turkey.- FalconForever
