    Do You Finish The Bowl

    I don't usually light up a pipe unless I know I have at least an hour to finish it. On those rare occasions when I don't finish, I save it for later - or even the next day. I have found that a left over bowl of DeLuxe Navy Rolls and some other Va/Pers really are quite enjoyable the next day.

    When I first started smoking a pipe, I stuffed it to the brim. Since my return pipemsmoking this past year, I noticed how charred some of the rims of my old piped were. Now, I tend to fill just below and am more conscious when lighting to avoid the dreaded rim charring.

    New Rossi Pipes Versus The Old Ones

    I am in the middle of a smoking my Rossi Rubino Antico 8320 and was able to pass a pipe cleaner pretty easily - but I don’t use the filter or the plastic insert. I really like the Rubino Antico line and just ordered a 8404 Zulu that weighs in at 1.3 oz. (damn Black Friday sales!) Anyway, very...
