Ditch the glove!! For me personally pipe smoking is a very tactile experience that involves all the senses. The feeling of a warm pipe in your hand is something special. Don't be afraid to hold the meer with your bare hands. Just go for it!- alialansari

Charatan Tobacco
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Charatan blends were announced before Peterson took over the production of the Dunhill blends. The Charatan mixture have been available in the UK for a while now. I haven't tried any myself but they are surreptitiously marketed as Dunhill exact copies.- alialansari

I always thought that smoking different pipe tobaccos is like trying different blends of juice (orange, apple, prune.... etc), while smoking cigars is like trying different brands of the same kind of juice (for example different brands of OJ).
