I love my pear pipe, maybe i just got lucky, its mr brog, and there was some taste in the beginning, but it wasnt even an unpleasant one, i think now, it tastes awesome, no difference to briar to me -

Ive seen these for sale at walmart and other similar places, they advertise being able to get rid of the smoke smell. My pipe mentor, who is very experienced, has always told me one pipe a day, the only rule for that is you have to let it cool to room temp between smokes. He says that 5 days rest is the minimum, but everybody should have a collection of 31 pipe for a month haha, i have about ten so i follow... -

it definitely is a cool looking pipe, and just so you know, i wasnt saying i know for sure it was pearwood, just looks similar to my pear pipe in the grain, and pear isnt bad, mine smokes very very well! Good luck with it bud :puffy: -

looks very much like the mr brog pear pipe i have, granted im not an expert on grain, i do have to say, that never made me sick. personally, because i dont have too much money, i would stick it out and hope, but if it continues for another 5 smokes, id throw it out the window -
