Do any pipe types/brands smoke cooler than others?
A good place to start is to do it the old school way, smoke one pipe a day, all day ( probided you wait about an hour after each smoke) and then let it rest 7 days, this means you have one pipe per every day of the week. Ok so I just bought this pipe, It is pretty beat up, and the stem is oxidized. Brigham pipe I am pretty sure i will be able to clean up the stem, and it doesnt look like it needs to be reamed. What i need help for is the bowl, I am sure a salt alcohol cleaning is necessary, but how can I make...- jchaplick

We meet every thursday at about 6 o clock, first thursday of the month is the actual meeting, the next three are optional 'activity' days i guess youd call them, we have like tobacco tastings and stuff like that, we actually meet in plains PA- jchaplick

Small Cut Pipe Tobacco
the smaller the tobacco the easier it burns, thats why you rub your tobacco as small as you can in smoking contests, im not trying to reprimand you, but try smoking much slower than you feel you need to, it being much smaller, you may be surprised how well it stays lit just my 2 cents- jchaplick
