    Super Bowl XLV

Couldn't care less. Mind blowing amount of money and time spent on a one hour game played by 22 meat-heads. I don't get it. Give me a warm summer day in the ball park watching any game with my grandson, a couple of Chicago Dogs and cold drinks. That's priceless!

    Esoterica's lack of availability.

8O Wow,.....$80? 8O :? Hmmmm......naaaah. Much higher than that and I would definately turn loose of a pound.

If you could only smoke one blend, what would it be?

If I could only smoke one blend? Easy.....Frog Morton on the Town. The blend satisfies both my English and aromatic cravings and SWMBO likes the room note.

New York Snuffs Out Smoking (parks, time square Ban Passed)

I just emailed the City Council and told them that as a frequent visitor/tourist, if New York City decides that I cannot smoke a sweet smelling pipe while strolling in the fresh air, air that New York City does not own,...I nor my family will ever be back for another visit. I did all I can do.

    Screen Savers?

Oh yeah,.....cool wallpaper! With pipe-babes! My whole man-cave wallpapered with pipe-babes!! And a "Keep Out"" sign on the door! I almost forgot what a screen saver was. But seriously, a few desk-top photos or magazine covers would be cool!

February 2011 - What are you smoking?

First smoke of the morning with my coffee,.....I think.....EMP. Early Morning Pipe in a Peterson Tankard.

Pot of beans, warm fire and a smoke.

:D Oh man,....that sounds awesome,....have you tried crumbling it up in a cup with milk and honey? A down home favorite for sure. Or better yet, heavy cream and honey.

    JackKnife Plug

I'm with you UncleArthur, I almost ordered some the other day while there was plenty of it, but I'm in no big hurry,....as a matter of fact based on several of the reviews it doesn't sound like a blend that I'm gonna like. I did the nicotine-freak thing for years with Winstons and Copenhagen...

Pot of beans, warm fire and a smoke.

Sorry Jimbo, I neglected the skillet cornbread my wife made. We do ours with cast iron skillet crisco'd and heated in 350 oven, almost same bread recipe but with diced japs onion, cheddar, and creamed corn added for "Mexican Corn Bread!" *cue the mariachi band*

    What the Fudge!

:-) I have no problem what-so-ever cleaning up my language to post here, thank you for putting that so well Kevin.

    Overrated Tobaccos

As a relatively new smoker,....I couldn't really point out a highly rated tobacco that shouldn't be highly rated. I do, however, know of several that I didn't care for nearly as much as most reviewers, but in an effort to not look stoopid, I'll refrain from mentioning them. 8O

What is your around the house pipe?

All of them. Except the four that I keep at the fire-station.

    My 2 new pipes

Good job,...I wouldn't mind having either one of them in my rotation! Congrats!

Pot of beans, warm fire and a smoke.

Why thank-you hfdpipe, we love to sit under it in the summer, it blocks at least 5o% of the sun and has screens we lower to shade us from the setting sun in the evening. You put any jelly or jam in them lil' smokies?

Pot of beans, warm fire and a smoke.

The worst part of all this snow and ice is; UPS has had my new Peterson, my Escudo and a tin of Standard Mixture held up down in Mesquite for two days now on account of this storm. :(
