new here. question about ID for tobacco purchases

    1) Stop in when the manager is there, and/or 2) Get a valid non-driver ID. Your going to want it eventually. 3) Welcome fellow pipe smoker!

Tobacco For Folks Who Sit Around A Camp Fire

Sorry I don't have a suggestion (I'm too new at this.) But reading all of the replies I'm thinking to myself, man!, this is such a great hobby/pastime. So many different picks and variety, yet they are all personal and there is no wrong answer. Pretty cool I think!

Cellaring in Mylar: Remove or Leave in Original Packaging?

I guess stop and think what the end goal is. I like what was mentioned about separating into smaller portions so that when you do open some, you can let the remainder continue on, undisturbed. If it is is only an Aromatic blend or something not being put away for age, then maybe it's not a big...

Cellaring in Mylar: Remove or Leave in Original Packaging?

I just did the same thing. I left 'em in the original bag and put that inside the Mylar. I figured the less disturbance the better. Don't know if it's correct or not.

Help getting started with first pipes, tobacco, etc.

Never smoked cigarettes (regularly anyhow) only cigars occasionally. Just getting started in pipes really. You are already on the right track. Learn all you can, great advice here and YT. YT is not too bad but there is some stuff on YT that just gets repeated like it was gospel. You'll know. My...

A Look at STG Internal Documents Regarding the Mac Baren / Sutliff Buyout

I have to respectfully disagree with this approach. Seen too much of that. I believe property owners have a right to do what they see fit with what THEY own. Now if someone were to make the owners an offer they can't refuse...well, that's different.

Thriving in the Upcoming Tobacco Apocalypse

Ha. Funny. I'm just getting started in this PT journey and one of the first things I did was look for the Middleton Cherry Pipe Tobacco. I remember how good those cigarillos smelled and thought to myself that i should get THAT pipe tobacco. It would be a good start I thought. That's when I...

    Will Syrian Latakia Return?

The "new" regime claims that they are no longer interested in war, but only the concerns of their beloved country and it's citizens. Perhaps with prosperity in mind they would try to revitalize the past successes of Syria. However, even if they started today, from what I've read they will need...
