The original ferrules are available too, through MM and some retailers. I think the nice ones from VF are made to fit over the original ferrule.- Sam Whiskey

That’s a Custom, made to a higher standard than the regular pipes. Hand-picked cobs, more careful assembly and finishing. Within the custom series there were some variations, that’s not the highest grade but all the Customs are good smokers. I think they date to the 60s - 70s.- Sam Whiskey
