I would definitely give mac baren vanilla cream flake a try. By far one of my favorites and i always have some on hand. Boswells makes some very good blends but i wouldnt consider them even close to medium on the nic level- hawk60ce

Thanks for the post per. Mac Baren is quickly becoming my favorite blend of tobaccos with Old Dark Fired and Vanilla Cream Flake at the top of the list. I have a bunch of tins in the cellar to give a try but I know ODF to be a huge hit with everybody I've given a sample too. The only downside is...- hawk60ce

I Had A Cigar: A Confession
You can smoke a pipe in a hot tub, just better smoke it fast. I had a cigar last weekend while tailgating because its just easier. Maybe not quite as fulfilling, but its is definitely easier. Nice! my wife hates the smell of any tobaccos ive had her take a wif of. Granted, she is an ex-nail smoker so i cant blame her. I love the summer sangria though. Have never tried the yule pudding, but coming from jack lee, you wont be disappointed.- hawk60ce

Bowl size-type of tobacco smoked
There really is no wrong in this hobby. Only things that we find work for ourselves individually. They sometimes match anothers personal experience too. Like i said before, for me, flakes in a tall thin bowl. Ive tried even aro flakes in na large bowl and i couldnt seem to get it to stay...- hawk60ce

Lets not jump on the owners back Phil. If the tins are out and available to the general public then it could've been opened by anyone. Aro's to English... How did it happen?
I went aro to VA to English. Still smoke all 3 but VA's are my favorite. VA's with a slight hint of some black cavendish are the best. Probably classified as an aro by most though. I wish I had started out with more of a VA blend than cavendish and burley blends. I think I would've enjoyed it...- hawk60ce
