@mthanded- makers mark is one of my favorites. I would not say its better than Makers mark, but different. It's not one I keep on the shelf all the time but when I do it doesn't last long. @top- I had pulled pork and lemonade before the smoke.

Has anyone tried any of the McClelland Townsman Series?

"Not I" said the blind man to the deaf, as he picked up his hammer and saw. but based on the description, i would guess a heavily cased aro. Not personally a burley fan but love a VA/cavendish blend. Seems like it would be very wet and goopy. Just IMHO.

    Augmenting Sail Natural?

never had it, but between burley or latakia i would add latakia. im not a burley fan personally.

I need an education on Meers

the big difference is between whats called pressed meer and block meer. to the best of my knowledge, prseed meer is a form of manufactured block and then carved, where as block meer is the actually meer forming naturally, thus making it stronger and better quality. other than that, thats all i...

    Really good deal!

 i read those comments to. why do those people feel the need to post comments about smoking dangers when people are just interested in the product itself. One individual mentioned how he wanted to get into pipe smoking because of the smell and he thought it looked cool. Only later in the...
