a little bit of this 1950's Kingsbury Flake I got at auktion. Got to get it moistened up a bit but will try a little dry to see how goes, smells good anyhows..ok, I'm lighting up, wow, I was expecting a harsh coughing eye watering bad. Cigar leaf blend suggestions
I would like to try a blend with a cigar leaf blended in. Not, so as the taste of cigar takes over the whole smoke, Something rather in the background. Do any of you have any suggestions? I'm eager to try one!- expatpipe

Sparroa, very well written. I see no other alternative than giving up my PAD after This month and jumping fanatically into TAD. Now this Winter, Spring, Summer.. will be left to seriously squirreling away tobacco.- expatpipe

Recommended Starter Tobacco
Great suggestions! Sometimes it really perplexes me reading other sites that in one way or another recommend to the starter to smoke a blend so mild that it would be just as rewarding as packing a bowl of imaginary tobacco and imagining the taste they want. Thanks for the kind encouragement. There were a few times I actually considered putting pipe tobacco directly in my mouth, yikes. But, I got past that point thank goodness. I think I finally made it. It's been hard but in a few hours I'll have quit chewing tobacco for one month! It made me crazy for a few weeks, antsy and irritable. Yoru, I never said or intended to say that I "accept" high tobacco taxes or regulation. I simply meant to say that tobacco is not going to disappear this second. Relax a little. I live in the most heavily taxed nation on planet Earth. I can still buy whatever pipe or tobacco I want. for example, 50g Mac Barens Scottish Blend = 18usd. 100g WO Larsen 2011 = 63usd. Am I crazy...
I've been pondering a lot about purchasing a Dunhill come payday.. But there are sooo many awsome beautiful pipes for the same price or much cheaper. Sure they are top grade pipes, but how much of me wants one just for jumping on the band wagon?? Maybe this summer or I'll keep my eyes open for... -
