Anyone here know much about muxiang?
It really did; I noticed a difference immediately. Three bowls with a smaller ember and a slower cadence made it so that I actually tasted the tabacco :0 and no more nasty smell from the top of my pipe. I used to get a nasty and very pungent aroma from the top of the pipe when I smoked. Thsnks...- Madhatter-boi-

Very interesting; I have tended to smoke pretty hot on my briars. Know any tips on smoking colder? I suppose I could look into youtube about it, but I don't know any good pipe-tubers.- Madhatter-boi-

I appreciate the info and pointers! I only smoke a few blends of tabacco, mainly captain black cherry and sutliff chocolate mousse; guess my first mistake was not dedicating pipes to a specific flavor; a mistake that I will be adressing directly.- Madhatter-boi-

Anyone here know much about muxiang?
I've just bought a ceramic pipe from muxiang and was wondering if there are any precautions I should take when smoking it, or if maybe my money would have been better spent on another ceramic pipe. I have several briar pipes, but have been looking for a pipe that doesn't ghost. Thoughts?- Madhatter-boi-

Help with German Hunter.
It never leaked from a cleaning, it leaked when smoked from. I fixed it by applying Danish oil and another layer of wax. Thanks though.- Madhatter-boi-

It leaks from the top of the bowl, the middle of the bowl in a small spot, the handle, and the fitting point where the bowl and stem go.- Madhatter-boi-

If it were up to me, I'd drill 2 holes and put it together with ceramic glue and 2 steel dowels, it would take forever and risk shattering the whole thing, then you run the risk of it looking like garbage. Sorry bud, likely a lost cause.- Madhatter-boi-

Help with German Hunter.
I have this pretty Hunter pipe, but I suspect the original creator didn't seal it with Danish oil. The thing leaks while you smoke it, while cleaning it with rum, or just general maintenance with a brush. I think it has wax on it already, and I'd hate to ruin the finish, but I really wanna smoke...- Madhatter-boi-

Pipe Rotation
Generally 3, My grabow, and my German hunters. 12, 6 of them are hand made by me. I think a collection for me is dynamic, making trades for other pipes occasionally, or stems, etc. A few pics of the ones I own.
