Perfect Pipe Collection. Less than 20 pipes.

I too, have around twenty, but every so often those that do not perform well leave, only to be replaced by another. Good luck on maintaining that amount.

Ken Byron Ventures’ Post About Loss Of Sutliff

Recently enjoying ,Kings Stride, while unique and tasty, I could live without it. There are many options, and I'm sure most of the favorites will remain.

    Most Floral Lakelands?

St. Bruno flake for me, the others, well maybe I was expecting the Lakeland essence?

    Why Buy Tins?

In agreement, many blends are tins only, and they store easy, versus all of those glass jars.

    Old Joe Krantz first impressions

Cracked open a tin of OJK last weekend, my first time with this renown tobacco, well all I can say is it should stay in the tin. I tried this blend in several Virginia pipes, and the result was the same. Granted, I have tried some blends with burley as an additive, so I'm familiar with the...

    English Fatigue?

I too, have tired of English variants, after smoking them for years. Sometime back I started branching out toward Va/personal. I found, like many, that the taste of pure tobacco comes through, for me at least.

    Peterson Christmas Pipes

I have Christmas pipe, an XL90 from 2020 that smokes well, and has moderate sandblast but the drilling is off abit, a decent pipe overall. Not sure about the pre-carbon treatment they gave the bowl interior, they SP, said it facilitates the break-in process.

LJ Peretti: No. 8 Slices & Cambridge Flake

I recently ordered a 8oz.tin of #8 slice as well, will wait a while to open as I have others to finish. Regarding Cambridge flake, well I had some about 6 years ago and it was quite tasty, subsequently I ordered an 8oz.tin of that, which I still have, unopened. They are a top shelf B&M.

***What Are You Smoking, September 2024?***

My mistake, a Viprati with some C&D XX Dark Flake, washing it down with Berringer Cabernet Savignon.

    UK: Labour Smoking Ban

What a pity, we're discussing tobacco prohibition in the Western world, while the remainder ponders?

    Strong Virginias

I would try G&H, Dark Birdseye, Virginia/Burley, quite the smoke.

Ok. So Escudo or Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls

So after much research, it seems, they,DNR and Escudo are the same. I know, taste vary as do opinions, but from what I gathered, it's simply business. In conclusion, if either work for you great, however, I'll keep plugging along the va/per road, and trying to score more Cabbies Mixture when...

    Syrian Latakia?

Sig, that fire that destroyed Greg Pease's was in a bonded warehouse in Petersburg Virginia, I don't remember the year, but I was really into Bohemian Scandal at time.

Ok. So Escudo or Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls

Comparing the two, Escudo ,Viprati, the difference is smoothness versus a bit of roughness. Still curious, Dunhill, err, Peterson Navy Rolls, so a price difference, under Dunhill it used to be good?.

Ok. So Escudo or Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls

I've been smoking Escudo lately, just curious between the two, btw my favorite is Cabbies mixture.

Ok. So Escudo or Peterson De Luxe Navy Rolls

While meandering amongst the grouping of Vapers, I have recently delved into the Escudo clone, Viprati by H&H, nicely done with chunks, if you prefer. The taste however, couldn't convince me, this is were I versed off the the road. So back to the question, I was a former smoker of Dunhill...

    GLP Must Have Blends

Wow, what choices, depending on your palate. I was a former fan of Piccadilly, Samara, and the aforementioned Bohemian Scandal. Taste change, and I now lean toward Telegraph Hill, and when found Stonehenge flake.
