Who Makes the Real Dunhill Now?
Thanks for posting the photos! My guess after comparing tin art in your photos with official STG-Dunhill-era tin art is that the Dunhill tin is new old stock with regional sticker and from before the name change to Peterson and the real deal. What It "Smells" Like
Not sure I personally would call it a good one but it's definitely high quality, consistent and not cigaretty... C&D Gentleman Caller. They market it as being worthy of using as potpourri. Best Buys...Question
I'd go for a sub 50 USD Rossi or a Peterson System Standard pipe (starting at 60 USD). Then there's also the Nörding Compass pipes (basically briar cobs) if you want something more utilitarian looking for 40- 55 USD. All above are in my experience great smokers. -
