What Supplements Should I be Taking?
I suggest not asking here, but go to your physician and get some blood work, it might be a deficit of XYZ. My wife had been tired a lot lately, got her blood checked. Because of her diet she got a b12 deficit. Suplimenting and adjusting her diet worked well.- DanWil84

While the question might be a bit dead asked in september 2022, ill still bite. I think Habanos Cohibas (not talking the General Cigars Habanos names brands, those are not available in Europe) are not worth their money and never where. A Siglo costs 30 to 40 euro's, not to mention other Siglos...- DanWil84

Real Bad at Lighting Cigars
How far where you into the cigar at the point of the picture? If you where in like 2 inches you cant blame that on the lighting. Can be a construction issue you can correct easily. I use torch lighters for cigars and prefer single flames to be more precise. I light the lighter and move the...- DanWil84

Straight Virginia's
My first encounter with VA was MB Virginia #1. Me being a pipedummy I smoked it like the english and burley based blend I tried. Got bitten like sticking your face in a wasps nest. The "ephiphany" came with capstan blue and OGS (the whole yes/no perique discussion, for me there is no perique)...- DanWil84

Do You Prefer Briar, Meerschaum, or No Preference?
Meerschaum for me in general, but i've had certain blends (especially Va/VaPer blends) that taste better in briars. -

@telescopes have fun, been a while I have been near the canals in Amsterdam. Smoked H&H Virginia Spice in the one year meer. Tobacco was courtesy of SS2021 @cosmicfolklore , while I haven't smoked it fresh "aged" it is very nice.- DanWil84

The Pencil Shank Pipe Hazard (for purchasers)
Great info George, thanks for sharing. Curious to see if you can pull it off to put a tube in it. I love long straight pipes, but I think I'm way to clumsy for a pencil shank. I'm allready very carefull with this long-ish Lovat I have. -

Hi guys, hope you are all well. So there is no real progression on the pipe, as I have barely smoked it. Maybe 2 or 3 times. If they appeal to you, you should. Same with smoking one pipe for one year. Smoke #45 in the one year meer was Tordenskjold Slices. First time cubecutting (with scissors) and gravity fill a flake which was a succes, burned really well and took a first light quite quick.- DanWil84
