Just Opened Pre 1987 Carter Hall
Pretty interesting smoke...There is still R.J.Reynolds on it instead of Middleton so it should be pre 1987 packaging..Bought it at antique store in Montana.Tobacco is dry but not to the point it can't be smoked..very interesting flavor...never smoked Carter Hall before- NC TX ID pipeman

It really would be nice if they make Mark Twain shape st Patrick day pipes,140 anniversary SPD pipe,Patent era house pipe SPD pipe and Darwin SPD pipe with tapered stem...And how about OOM Paul shape SPD pipe?.They would be gone in one day...sold out...They would not even have to put green color...- NC TX ID pipeman

Are Most Pipe Racks Made Wrong
I rarely smoke aromatic tobaccos and rarely have any moisture in a good briar pipe after smoking..In some cheaper pipes I do have just a hair of moisture...The only pipes i have moisture are system pipes which needs to be cleaned right away-sucking that reservoir out before you lay your pipe on...- NC TX ID pipeman

I have S.Pat.Day pipe from 2011...Briar is fantastic -XL 02 smooth pipe smokes excellent and no burnout of any kind in the bowl...It went through hell...Quality briar...My second from 2021 I bought because of turquoise thick stem and shape I do not have...rustication looks great at the person...- NC TX ID pipeman

How Often do You use Your Favorite Pipe(s)?
I am not saying to sell somebody a pipe which is really trash(I had to throw away one myself-plastic pipe which i got as a present -total junk)but for example pipe which does not pass a cleaner is not a trash to me cause i take them apart and clean them after smoke so it does not bother me at...- NC TX ID pipeman

does your Lestrade pictured above have any fills?Looking great! I bought mine like 5 years ago and it is terra cotta finish and it has like 5 small fills at the bottom part of the bowl...But grain is so great and love that pipe so I did not return it ...smokes great too....- NC TX ID pipeman

MM Cobs with Bamboo Stems
No experience with bamboo stemmed MM...But love theirs Charles Towne acrylic stemmed corn cob...Smoked it on my adventures out west when driving several times a day for 2+ months and it is great tasting pipe ....cake was quite thick had to ream it here and there but love the balance for...- NC TX ID pipeman
