1946 Dunhill Shape 59 --- a Sandblast (Shell) Finish For the Ages
That's a real beauty George! I'm a sucker for the sandblasts........... so much so that I've sold most of my smooth Dunhills off over the last few years. One of my favorite Dunhill shapes! Looks to be in fine condition. I'd put the date at 1950 as it appears there is a small, underlined 0 after the word England. Nice Score!- beefeater33

Jay- here in Ohio they do have a sweet, nutty taste to them. Not over the top sweet, but its there. Interesting............. I sold 2 tins to DI WANG and he paid right away. Maybe Tinbids warned him to pay up or quit bidding. I sell on E-bay and non paying bidders are an increasing annoyance, and E-bay does NOTHING to correct the problem. I'm hoping Tinbids does the right thing- Don't pay...- beefeater33

I wouldn't go that far.............. I can think of a lot of things that the quality has suffered in the last 50 years. Levi's jeans, Appliances (we have a 50 year old refrigerator at work that's still gettin' it done, and I'm lucky to get 6 years out of the new ones), Lumber, etc...- beefeater33
