Straight Orientals?
Peretti Tashkent is the one I am aware it is only Oriental with no Virginia or Burley. It has a little bit of Latakia but is minor and in the foreground and also keep in mind Latakia is derived from Oriental. It is a very good blend and it should be tried by anyone looking for Oriental blend.- 64alex

Storage Questions
To keep the tobacco in its tin I use a double aluminum foil placed below the lid and cut just below the border of the lid. Then I seal with electric tape between the aluminum foil and the lid. Have You Ever Smoked Baked Biscuit?
[Agreed, it takes a bit of prep time, but it's worth it imo. I enjoy mixing the plug with a bit of Grousemoor ribbon. Makes for a better burn and has a grand taste and aroma.] This is a good idea. Actually I have an unopened tin of the ribbon cut. This could give a reason to open it.- 64alex

Favorite Italian Pipes
Il Duca is awesome particularly for Morta and Olive wood. His pipes are aesthetically magnificent and functionally perfect. Swan Vesta are still the best matches. Expensive and difficult to find (but available on Amazon) but the best. I purchase both the long 3'75'' version and the short 2' version. Generally I use 1 long for charring light and 1 short for the 2nd light. I really prefer use matches for lighting...- 64alex
