    With Cumberland I really like how you get a nice interplay between the perique and the dark fired kentucky, neither dominate the bowl and it becomes a waltz of flavors as each leaf takes a lead but then keeps it interesting. Highly recommended.

    Yeah that makes sense cause I definitely also thought the air temp helps keep the bowl nice and cool. Maybe I just need to use my fire pit more. Certainly cheaper than a propane heater, save getting one of those I was just thinking of lighting my grill and standing by it on full blast 🤣

    I was thinking about getting a propane heater for my garage so I can smoke in there while I'm saving up my pennies for an air filter system for my basement so I can just smoke down there. I like your idea, spend money to save it.

    Ive been noticing more flavors as my technique improves as far as packing and not mindlessly puffing until I go "Ow" but the last few times I smoked it in the chill I got way more notes of dark Carmel amidst the burley. Maybe I'm tasting it better or maybe it's Maybelline.

    What was your first blend and is it part of your current rotation?

    First blend from a tobacconist was I think their branding of either RLP-6 or 1-Q. I do keep some 1-Q around but I dont smoke much aromatics anymore. First blend I remember really liking was C&D Evening Rise, I have a tin but I havent cracked into it recently. Maybe once I finish another one...

    At the Pipe Rack event I smoked some C&D Crooner and then some GLP Cumberland. Both delightful blends in their own regard, for different reasons and flavors. I'm excited to get to know these blends better over time.
